By means of our film a large audience would discover previously unknown facts.

Underground organizations were organized in 80 ghettos across Belarus. Only in Minsk ghetto there were 22 active underground groups leaded by Isaya Kazinets, Girsh Smolyar and Mikhail Gebelev. Their

battle count includes acts of sabotage on German factories and a railway junction, as well as thousands of people removed from ghettos to partisan troops. These people created or were recruited in 9 partisan troops and one separate squadron.

A lot of Jews that once fled from ghettos continued their fight in partisan troops. 14 Jewish partisan troops were created in Belarus. At least 1,650 people fought there. In total, there were somewhat from 10 to 15 thousands Jews in partisan troops in Belarus. Around 1,500 Jews comprised special scouting and raiding forces that were active in Belarus.
