July 17, 1941 - the German occupation authorities issued an order to establish a Jewish ghetto in Minsk. October 21, 1943 - The Jewish ghetto is liquidated. Between two dates - more than 80 thousand people were shot, hanged and strangled. Children, women, old people ... Jews in Germany, Austria, Czech Republic ...

 

For many years it was believed that the history of the Minsk ghetto ended on October 21, 1943. On the map of the Belarusian capital the stamp “Free from Jews.” Few people knew that in the basement of the house, which stood on the very edge of the closed area, several Jewish families,

26 people, were hiding.

They had their own chronicle of the Minsk ghetto. 9 months longer than the official one.

On the day of the liberation of Minsk, July 3, 1944, 13 people came out of the underground.
